After a month in
Australia, Jay has returned to Boston and the band is back in the studio
working on the new album.
Check

Looks like the Fir's
"Vinyl Singles Archive" CD will be up on Apple

episodes of MTV's Real World (San Diego).

on February 18.

friends The Everyones from Melbourne, Australia. They are a great band
and you should check them out.
The Everyones are currently on tour with Jet and Sloan, and they'll
be doing an handfull of headlining dates
on their own around the U.S.A. in August, including the Boston evening
with the Fir. We encourage you to come out for this one.

Jay Walsh was recently recognized by ASCAP and received one of their 2003
Popular Music Awards.
Although he can't retire just yet, rumor is that Jay is quite happy to
have been acknowledged.
Furthermore, Jay also recently designed the artwork for yet another Richard
Thompson live album.

Jay Walsh recently engineered and mixed a song for
Mark Robinson (ex-unrest / flin flon).
The song is cover of the Patty Duke track "Come Live with Me"
and was released as a 7 inch vinyl single.
It's available through the Teenbeat

Additionally, Jay also recently mixed two tracks on the new Paula Kelley
album that is out now on Kimchee Records.
